I've been asked
why pay $199 to sign up? That's very easy to answer.
1. Go to
Google and Yahoo and type in the search term
"woodstock tribute". You'll see this site is #1 in Yahoo and #3
in Google. That's very good advertising and it makes it easy for
people to find you. Bands are getting gigs that pay from $1400 -
$9,500 per show. My own band has booked 14 shows for this year
so far worth over $37,000. Is that worth a $99 investment? Of
course there are no guarantees that you will book this many
shows or book them for the same amount of money. Each band is
on their own. We only make sure you can be found and contacted.
We don't have anything to do with booking you unless someone
wants my band and yours for the same show.
2.
Time is money and it takes 8-10 hours total to do each band's
segment of the website.
3. You get
a professional web presence and it makes it easy for people to
find your band, listen to you, watch your videos and contact
you. Granted, you may have a MySpace page, but do people find
you easily there? I got over 3,000 unique hits to my site last
month. Granted you can stay in relative obscurity using MySpace,
but $199 is a very small investment to make in your band's web
presence.
